Cybele Diamandopoulos

Cybele founded FOLIO in 2006, after spending 15+ years leading high-profile communications programs for a wide range of technology, consumer and public sector organizations including ON Networks, Motive (now Alcatel-Lucent), Waveset (now Sun Microsystems), Tivoli/IBM, Samsung Austin, the City of Austin and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Career highlights include launching ON Networks, one of the first independent distributors and producers of original HD video content; spearheading media relations for Motive’s $50 million IPO; leading analyst and public relations for Waveset from startup to acquisition by Sun Microsystems; managing product launches, competitive programs and integrated marketing campaigns for Tivoli in the US, Europe and Latin America; and establishing Samsung Austin’s community relations and corporate giving programs.

Cybele graduated from The University of Texas and continues to pursue her passion for dance, music, architecture, travel and community service. She has been a Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition judge, is a Leadership Austin alumna (1998) and has held various board and volunteer positions with Big Brother/Big Sisters of Austin, Zachary Scott Theatre Center, Austin Entrepreneur’s Foundation and the Austin Children’s Shelter, among others.
